Hydrogen Sulfide is lethal, corrosive, and flammable in certain concentrations. Elimination and inhibition of H2S as well as precautions to protect personnel and equipment are critical.

H2S in Crude Oil

Many crudes are high in a variety of sulfur compounds, some with naturally occurring H2S.  In other cases, H2S is formed through anaerobic bacterial activity, which can occur downhole, in tanks, pipelines, trucks and railcars.  Bioxy’s H2S Terminator™  can both eliminate H2S and inhibit its formation.

H2S in Water

H2S can be formed in wastewater streams, in landfills, and other biological and chemical processes.  Bioxy’s  H2S Terminator™  can both eliminate and inhibit its formation in those environments as well.
